i left my phone out in sun what to do??

I left my iPhone 4 out in the sun for maybe 1 hour and now it won't turn on or show any symbol. I have i charging and in a cool place now but its not doing anything. Please help i need advice.

The device will shut down if it overheats. It is built into the iOS. Leave it in a cool place, then try to reset the device. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone should reboot. I would not try to do that for a few hours after bringing it in to cool. You may have to plug the device into the charger and let it charge for about 30 minutes and try the reset with it plugged in.

That's a lousy recommendation. It's likely that Apple will discover what happened and why. Lying is not likely to encourage individuals to assist with problem resolution.
