Jun 13, 2015 3:26 PM in response to twistedfatemidby a brody,The 10.4.9 installer disc did not come with the iBook from 2004. If it came with anything that was a Mac from March 13, 2007 or later. You want either the 10.4 retail disc with a black label with a white X logo with no Update or Dropin or OEM indication on it, or the original discs from the iBook to install on your iPod. Also you need a Firewire compatible iPod to boot the iBook. USB compatible will not work.
