Port on Source Computer
iMac (27-inch Mid 2010)
Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort
Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt
If you do not have that iMac then you can use an app like
Use screen sharing System Preferences>Sharing>Screen Sharing
A wired network connection is best for both
