Jun 10, 2015 1:56 PM in response to Emiko Southby mwallis1997,Have you tried entering recovery mode. Press and hold the home button while plugging in the usb charge into the iPad. It should show the iTunes logo - open iTunes and a pop window will ask what do you want to do. Click restore - update.
Hope this helps.

Jun 10, 2015 5:07 PM in response to mwallis1997by Emiko South,Yes I tried that, that's what I meant by hard restore, I meant hard recovery. it went through almost the whole process then just kicked off and itunes went back to the "home" screen with my music and my ipad went back to looping. A friend said to remove all ipad stuff from my computer and try downloading the ipad restore again because sometimes it gets corrupted so I tried that this afternoon and after the download it came up with error 3004 but at least my iPad is not looping anymore it is just a black screen but still can't get it operational. Thanks anyway.

Jun 11, 2015 6:26 AM in response to Demoby Emiko South,Yes, I've tried all that, the only thing I have not tried yet is restoring it on another computer because I don't have another one and haven't asked friends that have itunes yet. That is my last hope. Oh by the way it has gone back to the looping again.
