Q: my classic ipod has an error code 1430, how do I reset

I have a classic Ipod 160 GB, which had been setting in my desk drawer.  When I tried to sync it with my Itunes, I was told I had a error 1430.  I went to you tube and tried some of the videos to reset my ipod and have not been able to do so.  Now to Apple support for help.  Thanks
