Q: Is my gpu going bad?

I have a MBP mid 2012. I use adobe PS, AI, LR, and ID daily with no issues.  Then I started using Autodesk Maya a few months ago and that's when I started getting screen glitches. They stopped when I stopped using Maya. Now I've gotten occasional screen artifacts (white and black horizontal bars on display in random spot), as well as a panic report. So my question is does it look like my GPU is failing?

Here is the panic report and an image of an artifact that appeared on my screen that happened just browsing the web.

Thanks!

That report is odd, but not conclusive.

I think your next step should be running Apple Hardware Test or making an appointment for a free evaluation at the Genius Bar of your nearest Apple store. Your visit is free, in warranty or out. If any repairs are needed, there is no obligation to have the store make them, but they are at a fixed price, no surprises, no cost overruns.

I did run the apple hardware test. Twice actually. Everything came up fine. It's really strange. I'll take your advice and do an evaluation at the store. Appreciate it!

The graphics part of the test is infamous for finding only gross problems, and missing more subtle ones.
