how to import photos from Nikon 7100 to MAC?

I have Nikon D7100 and I would like to download the picture to the Mac some know how to do it ?

in the past I used iPhoto and now there are only "Photos"

Connect D7100 to Mac via USB cable or SD card to card reader then imports pictures.
