If your Wireless Keyboard/Mouse/Trackpad is already paired on the OS X side, Windows has challenges pairing with an already paired device. This causes the symptoms to look like the device fails to stay in pairing mode.

There are two methods, one simple, and the other is complicated.

1. Unpair your device from the OS X side such that it is not paired with any other device. Pair with Windows first, and then pair with OS X second.

2. Each paired device is assigned a key called link key by each device it is paired to. If you want to pursue this approach and modify link keys and registry values, please see http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/72201-dual-booting-windows-7-mac-mountain -lion-both-magic-trackpad-magic-mouse-bl… .
