Mi band Sync Issues

I have bought a Miband and connected it to my iphone health app and selected Miband to write the data in the health app. But interestingly the miband and health app show different numbers and sometimes health app shows a higher number which is impossible because when i am at home and i walk around the home my phone is on the table so it should show a lesser number.

I have also connected Jawbone Up app to the health app to read data because it gives nice recommendations based on the activity. The funny thing is Jawbone up app is also showing a different number from the health app and Miband! and the number is higher than both sometime with 2-3k steps difference.

My settings in the Health app source:

Allow Mi Fit to write data [On]

Allow up to read data [On]

It seems to me that the iOS Health app and the Mi Fit app are create duplicate data. If I open the Health app and look at the source data, the Mi Fir imports every hour, while the health app seems to do it live,

So if you remove the Mi Band data from the Health App the number nearly perfectly match on mine ( I always have phone in pocket ).

I think the Mi Fit App needs to read the Health App steps and then subtract that from the steps it sends to the Health App.

Apple team please fix this issue with health app...

No worries - Health App would not duplicate figures if you have more than 1 input source. Health app take the sample data from only one source at a particular point of time, based on your input source directly. For example, if you have your iphone, apple watch, miband wearing at the same time, and 3 devices taking the steps count separately. and if you setup the priority miband -> apple watch -> iphone, then health app would take the figures from miband only, and if miband has no figure at that point of time it looks for apple watch, and then iphone. so there would not be any duplication data input.

The priority can be setup in the health app, for example in the steps -> share data -> edit, drag the input source list
