10.4.8 and Apani Nortel Contivity Client 3.4

I upgraded to 10.4.8 and it has broken (partially) my Nortel Contivity Client from Apani Networks. I have called them and they said the problem is related to the OS update and they have not been able to duplicate it, but have had calls from other users reporting problems. They claim to have made Apple aware of the problem, but state that Apple said they have not received very many calls with the complaint and thus it is not a priority. I am running OS-X 10.4.8 on a PowerBook G4, 1.33 GHz, 1 Mb RAM and the latest release of the Apani Client, 3.4. The client seems to work 90% of the time over an Ethernet network connection and 10% of the time over WiFi. I can connect to the Contivity Box, but I cannot reach any resources (web pages both internal and external, Microsoft Remote Desktop or shared drives). So I guess my questions are:

1. Anyone else having this problem?
2. If so, did you notify both Apani and Apple?
3. Does anyone know a solution?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.
