How to refresh favorited photos?

On my Mac, using Photos .... I will "favorite" the photos I want to add to my blog, that way I have quick access to upload. I go to upload these photos to the web: Choose Files > Photos > Favorites **BUT** it doesn't show the photos I have tagged. It will show old favorited photos that I have since untagged. It doesn't seem to refresh. The only solution I've come up with is restarting my entire computer, but this is a pain to do every time I write a new blog entry. Anyone else with this issue? Any ideas or suggestions?
