Does the apple watch have a vibrating alarm as I am deaf?

One of the main features of the Apple Watch is Haptic Engine. Essentially a very sophisticated vibrator mechanism that's used for many interactions and notifications.

Apparently so. I just set mine on silent mode and set the timer. I got a buzz when it reached the time.
