Jun 11, 2015 8:30 PM in response to FissionMeisterby JimHdk,The iOS devices require a printer that supports AirPrint while the Macs do not.
The Brother MFC-7860DW is not listed as an AirPrint capable printer on the Apple list found here: About AirPrint - Apple Support
You will probably need a Brother App to AirPrint to this printer.

Jun 12, 2015 9:39 AM in response to JimHdkby FissionMeister,Thanks, there was a Brother app that now makes it possible to print from my iPad. Will work on the iiPhones next.
There is still an unanswered question out there that I will pursue. My network and the devices we use haven't changed in over a year - same wireless base, same IOS devices, same computers and same printer - and I could print from the IOS devices without the Brother app. It all changed after the last IOS update.
I'm going to check for a printer firmware update and install it if needed. For now the print problem is resolved but not solved.
Thanks to all who responded to help me out.
