As far as what is compatible or not, just install them to find out.
The only ones you may have trouble with are TrueType fonts that were TrueType fonts that were only coded to work only with Windows PCs.
TrueType fonts coded for use with the Mac use the .ttf extension.
There used to be a converter to convert PC Truetype fonts to Mac TrueType fonts, and vice versa, but I am not sure of what this app was and whether it still works with more recent versions of OS X or not.
Not sure if dfonts work with OS X or not, but may still work if you install Windows on this Mac.
There maybe a converter for these fonts, as well.
Try a web search to see if these style fonts can be converted to use with Mac OS X or not.
Other fonts like bit mapped, PostScript and OpenType fonts should work without issues.
