Blue screen of death when install bootcamp 5.1

i've just installed window7 64bit and download bootcamp 5.1, after it finish install bootcamp , i deleted AppleHFS.sys and AppleMNT.sys then i restarted , it boot to the welcome screen then the BSOD appear , i restarted and this time , when the window is starting , bsod appear @@. then i run repair startup and restore . I try 3 times and didn't have any good result 😟 hope for a helpful answer 🙂

Is there a reason that prompted you to delete AppleHFS.sys and AppleMNT.sys? These two are part of the drivers which allow read-only access to your OS X JHFS+ file system.

Can you re-install them and test?

Oh i delete AppleHFS.sys and AppleMNT.sys because the first time installed bootcamp drivers 5.1 i didn't know why the BSOD appeared , so i restored and installed again , i googled then i saw that i need to delete AppleHFS.sys and AppleMNT.sys , or rename them . so i think that after finish install bootcamp i need to delete them 🙂 . Beside , i can't boot to safe mode because BSOD will appear 😟

i don't know because it was so fast 😢 . Now i have another problem , i install bootcamp 3.0 and update to 3.2 but don't know why when i open bootcamp control panel , it say nothing and no error but it don't start ? , can u help this problem too 🙂

1. What year/model is your Mac?

2. You are referring to three different BC versions, 5.1, 3.0 and 3.2? What is the version of BC Assistant? It should be 5.1 on Yosemite.

3. W7 64-bit requires 5.x or 4.x versions of BC Assistant. Please see System requirements to install Windows on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support.

macbook pro 15" mid 2012 i install 5.1 then the BSOD appear so i restore and try the 3.2 and it still not work

What did you restore when you say you restored 3.2? Was it BC Assistant 3.2 restored to a Yosemite OSX partition?

i created a restore point in my window 7 so when the BSOD appeared 2 times , it automatically launched startup repair , and i restore to my restore point , i have a restore point without bootcamp , and one with bootcamp 3.2 installed 🙂

You have BC drivers 5.1.x and 3.2 installed and two different restore points. My suggestion is to backup this Windows installation, remove it via BCA and start over again. Using two different sets of drivers with major version differences can cause issues. Also, please do not remove any drivers.

TKS for your help a lot , actually i thought there no way to fix so i installed a new window 8.1 through BCA ,it's easier than find how to fix that problem 🙂
