Q: Enable Safari password prompt

When I started using Safari, it asked me if it wanted me to say usernames/passwords for some sites and I clicked the Never option.  However, now I would like for Safari to save my usernames/passwords for those sites.  How can I get Safari to prompt me to save the passwords again?

I am running OS X 10.10.3 with the latest Safari.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Try resetting the keychain. This will cause all stored passwords to disappear.

I do not want to reset my keychain because I have stored passwords that I do want to save.  Example:  lets say I have a login to yahoomail.com that is stored in my keychain and I want to keep it.  Lets also say I have a gmail.com account but that I have previously told Safari not to remember the password for gmail.com.  How do I get Safari to prompt me again for the password for gmail.com so I can have Safari remember it and add it to the keychain?

From Safari 8 (Yosemite): If Safari can’t save a password:

"Make sure AutoFill is turned on:

Choose Safari > Preferences, click AutoFill, then make sure “User names and passwords” is selected.

    Remove the “never saved” status:

If you told Safari never to save the password for this website (by clicking Never in the dialog that appeared when you first signed into it), your password can’t be saved until you remove that status. Choose Safari > Preferences, then click Passwords. In the list, select the website (“never saved” should appear next to it), then click Remove".
