Apple,
Please fix this. Deleting one by one is awful.

@Apple, u seriously need to come out with an update so that you can delete all text messages at once. This is absolutely mind blowing. One by one is total non sense.
It is possible to dismiss all notifications at once from within Notification Centre (but not messages from within the Messages app) by following the instructions here to clear all notifications:
See and respond to notifications
Messages conversations cannot be deleted in bulk from the Messages app on Apple Watch, nor is message deletion synced across Apple Watch and iPhone (and there is no way to enable this).
Messages conversations instead need to be deleted separately on each device.
The Mirror my iPhone setting for Apple Watch determines only how you are notified about new messages. If you choose Custom, for example, you can decide whether your watch shows alerts, whether sound and/or haptic alerts are provided and whether (including how many times) alerts are repeated when new messages are received.
To delete a Messages conversation on your Apple Watch:
If you would like to send a feature request to Apple, then you can do so here:
You can use Force Touch to dismiss all while in the notifications screen. Unfortunately, you can not delete them all at once in the Messages app. You must do them message by message.
Submit feedback to Apple requesting this.
You can only delete them individually, the whole conversation. Just swipe left on the contact's name, you'll get a trash option, tap on that and another trash option will come up, tap on that. And before you ask, that does not sync back to the phone. Those messages will still be there. Hopefully this will be made a little easier in the new watchOS.
@MikeyBananas, you are not addressing Apple here. They do not participate in the forum. This is a user to user support forum. If you want Apple to see what you have to say, then you need to go to their feedback link, http://www.apple.com/feedback and click on the appropriate subject.
I did it when I unpaired the phone ad re-paired (deleted messaged from phone after unpaired), takes awhile but it depends on how many messages you have to delete! lol
No it doesn't
You can perform a force touch while in Messages and it gives the option to delete all.
Are you talking about on the notification screen and you can force touch to "Dismiss All"?
Yes I know. LOL - Just venting. 😉
This is not the venue for venting, the link I provided is.
I second! This does work, but did take time. Around 10-15 min.
Thanks Soo much, just did it, it worked, took all of 2 seconds!
how do you perform a "force touch" This deleting one by one is to time consuming! 😟
