Why does my Photos library take up so much space?

Why does my Photos library take up so much space?

The library contains 88 photos, most of which aren't high quality (less than a MB maybe).

Somehow this adds up to making the Photos Library folder into a 120GB folder.
I can't seem to figure out what is taking up the extra space.

Any ideas?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

The finder gives you accurate information as noted in the post above - Grand Prospective is one to try for a more graphis view and see how you like

And nothing uses "about my Mac" to tell how much space you have - it sounds like you have a major space issue and are at risk of losing data - in teh finder right click on your system hard drive and get info - it tells how much space you have

Is there any app out there that can give me an accurate depiction of my storage space, and it's contents? It's astounding how bad "About my Mac" is at giving any relevant or accurate information. Furthermore, my Mac uses it as a reference as to how much space is left. Since "about my Mac" estimates my pictures to be at about 30GB(even though I have next to no pictures), they don't allow me to import any photos to my Mac since "I don't have 15GB of space for it" I do have the space, my Mac just ***** at predicting storage so much that it thinks I don't, thus preventing me from carrying ou the action. Hope they fix this soon.
