Jun 12, 2015 3:37 PM in response to bbw100by Kappy,Looks like that is correct:
Maximum Memory 128 GB (Actual) 64 GB (Apple) Memory Slots 4 - 240-pin PC3-14900 (1866 MHz) DDR3 ECC SDRAM I'm not sure about doing that with only two modules. I would think you have to use four 32 GB modules for a 128 GB total.

Jun 12, 2015 4:18 PM in response to bbw100by Grant Bennet-Alder,You should not have to become a memory expert to buy memory for your Mac.
Buy from a Vendor who is already an expert, and assures you:
"It works in your Mac,
or your money Back."
If the folks you are dealing with cannot give you this assurance, you are not yet dealing with the right Vendor.
Also, since Apple stops its support at far smaller numbers, the Vendor IS the entity providing the support for these stretched configurations.
¿can they provide the support you need ?
