Q: I just replaced my modem.  My internet service is working fine.  My Airport light used to be green.  Now it flashes yellow.  Is this a problem ?

That amber light is flashing for a reason.....AirPort Utility has a message for you.

Unfortunately, the Apple support document linked above claims to have been updated in March 2015, but it mentions  things like AirPort Utility 5.5.2....when it is at least 4 years out of date.

Surprisingly, no mention is made of AirPort Utility 6.3.x, which has been the current version for the past 3 years.

If your Mac is running Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks or Yosemite.......

Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility

Click on the picture of the AirPort Router

    Look for the Status setting

Click on the small amber dot there

Another window will open up to explain why the AirPort router is complaining, and offer a remedy for the issue.

Post back if you need some additional tips in this regard.
