Q: If I restore from a back up, and then delete the back up after, will the restored files be deleted as well?

My iCloud storage is full because of the back up from my old iPhone 5S, and instead of buying more storage I am planning to just delete previous back ups. So my question is: if I restored the back up to my new iPhone 6, and then delete that back up after, will the restored files be deleted as well?

Thank you!

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3

I am having a similar issue. I upgraded from an iPhone 6S to a 6S Plus and have 50GB of storage on iCloud. I set up my new 6S Plus from the latest backup in iCloud from my 6S. Now my 6S Plus is not able to backup because there is not enough storage space in iCloud. I attempting to delete the latest backup from the 6S since I no longer have the device, but it gives me an error when attempting to do so (image from attempting to delete the 6S backup is attached).
