Q: Resolve Conflict Query
Hi
I keep getting asked to Resolve Conflicts between my iPad and iMac when I've not usually edit the document on both devices.
This morning I was updating a Numbers file and after about 20s a change I made yesterday disappeared, I assume the iMac had decided to sync with the iPad and overwrote the iMac. This is not really what I wanted but it was only one additonal row in a table so I simply added it again.
After exiting Numbers on my iMac I opened Numbers on my iPad, it appeared to sync, the sheet I'd just edited jumped to the top of the list. When I open the sheet I was asked to resolve a conflict error saying the sheet was modified on my iPad @ 08:54 and my iMac @ 08:57 - clearly I would choose the iMac version knowing I'd just edited it but why is there a conflict in the first place when I'd not actually edited the sheet on my iPad @ 08:54 anyway.
Does anyone know how to resolve this frustrating and frequent problem?
Thank you for any help
