I use MacBook Pro. I have 4kb free memory and my computer suddenly shut down. I'm trying to restart it but it's not working. I don't know how to delete memory in order to make it work.i tried dick repair it didn't work.

If you are talking about disk space, 4K is not enough free space to run OS X at all.

If successful, delete trash and off load data to an external HDD or delete it. Again delete trash.

Storage is what your computer uses to keep data

memory is temporary data used to make apps faster

He got to the safe boot login screen but was unable to log in. The fact that he has less than 4 kb storage is a problem.

ok so do you have another mac in your house

If you have access to another Mac, you may try Target Disk Mode:

Or you can take out the HDD, install it in an enclosure and connect it to another Mac via USB.

Either way you should be able to take off data from the HDD. Again, do not forget to empty trash.
