having so much trouble to install Oracle Database Express Edition 11g.my mac is the latest version

MacBook Pro(retina,13-inch,early 2015)

3.1 GHz intel core i7

16GB DDR3

500 GB flash storage

OSX Yosemite(version 10.10.2)

i was trying to install or using oracle database 11g express edition.but having problem with installing this product.i find somewhere that i have to use virtual box with installing windows or linux and then i can use it in my mac.if i have to use virtual box then i'll use linux.so i want the exact solution.

Oracle Express Edition only works on Windows or Linux. So you need to install either Windows or Linux. You choose. To install Windows use either Boot Camp Assistant or a virtual machine like Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox. To install Linusx use a virtual machine like Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox.

so i found this article that was telling me i can use MAMP which is include (PHP,APACHE and MYSQL) instead of using oracle.make sure that is it right way to do it and also applicable?
