It seems OS 10.10.3 includes older AMD drivers, which don't have features needed in Cycles OpenCL implementation.
New drivers, please!

Confirmed problem here too, the issue has been noted with Blender's bug tracker. Not much can be done until Apple update the drivers.
It would be great if someone politely and with Apple in this topic. 😕
OpenCL Apple anything at all is not the premise. While working on the R9 takes the full power of System OS X. It is difficult to switch to the Finder.
With two cards R9 + Iris Pro Finder in OS X works great as to render it at all does not work.
Blender developers say Apple does not support the latest standards OpenCL. 😟
