How to remove the stopwatch from the Chronograph face

One of the things I grappled with is how to exit this silly stopwatch once it launches. After many many tries, I figured out that first you have to stop the lap (press red button to turn it green) and then hit the white button to quit. FWIW.

Just my 2 cents, but the stop watch starting unexpectedly is very annoying. I like that face but fix the stop watch.

Fark, you have to be kidding me. Steve Jobs would have tar an feathered the person responsible for allowing to have this most obvious bug sit here for years. worst of all it’s the only decent watch face.

October 2017 - Apple Watch 3 - Version 4.0 (15R610) and this issue STILL exists.

Please allow us to change this 'complication' or at the very least, remove it.

Any expectations of your customers to just accept it as is is a failure at the highest level.

Ignoring Customer requests is equally disappointing.

All chronographs have a stopwatch function. It’s what makes them chronographs. So disabling such a function on that would be wrong.

I would like to add that i got the Watch 2 for three days now, and i already inadvertently started the stopwatch two times.

I do not know hot it activates, but it does. And i wouldn't want that to happen, so, hopefully removing it would solve the issue and not create a new one 🙂

Its tough to believe that Apple did not act on this even after 2 years.

I did submit a request, but it's highly unlikely they will give us an option to do it.

Other than that... sorry mate, it's nothing to be done. Your best bet for aesthetics is to just get used to not hitting the stopwatch, or get the "Simple" face and try to let its beauty grow on you... 😟

I'm having the very same issue, so I've submitted feedback as kingtoe suggested. We'll see if they make any changes when the next watch software update appears.

Ugh! Me as well. Now with 4.0, the stopwatch will show on wake screen even if it isn’t running. ***. Make it stop

I've submitted a feature request too... same issue for me. Hopefully a WatchOS update will sort it soon.

This is one of the most annoying features I have with the watch. Enough to make me stop using it. I'm trying to even remove the face that this appears on, and I don't seem to be able to do that.

I agree this is annoying... The stopwatch app keeps turning on for no good reason...
