Q: iTunes looses connection to AirPlay-enabled speaker. While my iPhone connects and plays perfectly

iTunes in Mac has difficulty connecting to my set of AirPlay speakers from Bowers and Wilkins. The problem seems to be with iTunes itslef since the speaker shows up with excellent connection in the Airport utility, connects to the B&W setup application perfectly and has up to date firmware, and moreover, my iPhone can play perfectly well on that speaker. This has been going on for several months in a vert spotty way, often reconnecting if I turned iTunes off and on again. But today it will just not work even after restarting the Mac, speaker, router.... Pretty much everything. Itunes seems to find the speaker but as soon as I hit play it will show "trying to connect to A7 speakers" and after a while show a "network timeout" error And play back only on a second airplay speaker on the netWork.

The A7 is on a Time-capsule extended network, but as said above the speaker works perfectly from iPhone (going through the main router) and is perfectly connectwd to the Mac and router. Any hints??

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion, iCloud
