I have uploaded videos on iWeb but when I publish them they only load halfway. Any suggestions of how I get videos to pay on my website?

I have uploaded videos on iWeb but when I publish them they only load halfway. The little black bar line will start loading then freeze so my video will only play halfway. The videos were done in iMovie and are .mp4. Any suggestions of how I get videos to pay on my website?
