Mac OS XBoot into the recovery partition.
from the 4 option menu select Disk Utility.
Run Disk Utility>First Aid, Verify and Repair.
If the disk cannot be repaired, it will have to be replaced.

Jun 14, 2015 5:50 AM in response to OGELTHORPEby HelpandIshallrewardnot,Ok, I accessed disk utility and after my macbook collected the disk info i looked for first aid. Didnt find it and clicked on verify. It now asks which image I want to verify. Is this correct? Sorry for being pushy but right now I feel like a monkey driving a space ship.

Mac OS XRead the directions in the link I provided.
Or you can start the MBP with the OPTION key held down. That should result in a display showing two HDD icons. Select the one on the right, the RECOVERY partition.
Ciao.

Mac OS XCheck to see if there is a kernel panic report available. If so post it:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201753
Run an Apple Hardware Test:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201257
Note that an error free AHT is not definitive.
Ciao.

Mac OS XWhat is the EXACT model/year MBP that you have? If you do not know for certain, on the bottom of the MBP is the serial number. Enter it here:
https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do
See if OPTION + D keys will start the Apple Hardware Test.
Ciao.

Jun 14, 2015 8:19 AM in response to OGELTHORPEby HelpandIshallrewardnot,I have a 13 inch mid 2009 macbook pro. I tried both D and Option+D, they both get ignored and the mac starts up as usual, only to get blocked on the loading screen. By the way, at this point my macbook has stopped incurring in a kernel problem i think, since it hasnt given me anymore the kernel page, it just fails to load to start.

Mac OS XKnowing now that you have an older MBP, the Apple Hardware test can be run from the original install disk that came with the MBP. It will have the AHT instructions on it.
Try these steps:
Reset the SMC and the NVRAM:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063
Then try a safe boot:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262
Ant success?
Ciao.

Jun 14, 2015 1:38 PM in response to OGELTHORPEby HelpandIshallrewardnot,Did what you say and resetted SMC and NVRAM. Now tho it doesnt restart in safe mode, again it gets blocked in loading screen. I am pressing at the right time because NVRAM did have the mac restart twice as it is supposed to, so why doesnt my mac enter safe mode while I press shift? At this point Im going to wait for the battery to completely discharge and them try it again

That will have no positive affect on your MBPs performance.
Were you able to run the Apple Hardware Test using the appropriate original installation disk?
If you cannot get the MBP to safe boot, that suggests a hardware problem.
Ciao.
