Q: Photos: display get info pane to other viewers

OS Yosemite 10.10.3 - Photos

I need to send a jpeg photo and ensure that the 'get info' (i) is apparent to a recipient?

I have tried to use Grab but as soon as I select Grab the 'get info' pane vanishes

I have tried to make a pdf version displaying the photo with get info superimposed on the image, again as soon as select Print the get info pane vanishes

Any thoughts or solutions would be most welcome

Many thanks for taking the trouble Larry.

In fact when I had the photo open and the get info pane, the pan closed as soon as I tried to take a screen shot.
In the end I printed the pane separately

MMany thanks for your contact. I opened the JPEG, clicked on i button to show info pane. Then I selected Grab & immediately the info pane closed.

PLease could you write down your routine with the commands that you use?

Don't use Grab. Use the method that Larry linked you to.

Since Grab is another app, when you launch it you lose the ability to copy auxiliary windows from the screen. The built in method that Larry linked you to will get those windows.
