folder wtih a question mark on startup

Locked my macbook pro while trying to use the find my phone function on icloud.

Now on staring my mac all i get is a folder with a question mark instead the screen where i get to enter the four digit password which i remember

Its a new macbook and i don't have any useful data in it, just need to get it working back to normal.
