Repetitive "No Caller ID" calls

I am getting one or two calls a day which show up as missed calls. The phone does not ring. But when I check the calls, there is a "No Caller ID" call that I have purportedly missed. Usually, I get one each morning between 10 and 11, and one in the late afternoon or evening. Has anyone else seen this? I have talked to my carrier (Verizon) and they have no clue. Is it possible that this is malware, or perhaps related to one of the maps I have on the phone. I had an iPhone 5 on which this was happening, but In traded it in for a 6 and am getting them there as well.

That would make sense except for the fact that it's not possible to block unknown or blocked callers on the iPhone.

It's more than likely a robocall that disconnects before you can hear the ring.

The behavior you describe is the same as for blocked phone numbers. You probably added this number to the blocked list a long time and forgot about this. When you migrate d to the new phone, the list was also r stored.

Settings > Phone > Blocked

Unless this phone was hacked/jailbroken at any time, there isn't any malware. Where did you get this phone? iOS version?

Are you out of signal when these calls occur? If you have no connection it is possible for the call to be missed which will cause a notification when you are back in range of a cellular connection.
