How to delete icons on iPhone 6 plus

I tried to delete my Hilton icon on 6 plus, got the “X’s” and deleted, but now its greyed and still in place on the screen?

If I no longer need an app such as QUICKEN how do I delete the icon?

It shakes then delete you cannot delete Apps that are

Part of ios 8 ie stock apps.
