How do I limit the upload speed of iCloud

iCloud on all my apple devices is creating a huge problem on my home network, and I would like to limit the upload speed of all devices.

Currently when any apple device is turned on, it prevents all my other computers from accessing the internet, by utilizing 100% of my bandwidths upload capacity. This is ~2.6Mbps of data leaving apple devices anytime they are turned on. Because all upload bandwidth is being used by apple devices, internet protocols time out, due to inability to upload requests to servers. This hinders, all website viewing, streaming and gaming.

I would like to limit the upload speed of each device to ~120Kbps. How can I do this?

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.3, Also 2 MacBook Pros,

This might be the final straw for me. Time to sell all stock in apple, and watch this company plummet.

Has there been a solution to this? We have a number of apple devices that throttle the bandwidth on our home router when uploading to iCloud.

So far apple has not acknowledged this fault in their system. I cloud turns on once an hour, and destroys my ability to use the internet.

It wouldn't be problem if members of my household had a better understanding of computers, but they don't. So they try to get everything linked to the cloud, because they can't manage data on their own. This makes my situation worse. My household has 10 apple computers/phones. So my internet became virtually unusable.

I initiated Q.O.S. protocols on my router, but the ports used by iCloud are ubiquitous and used for hundreds of other services, including standard HTTP transmissions. This means that I have to limit all internet across the board, and make my speeds horrendous if I want to use the internet at all. Otherwise apple takes over my network.

This might be the final straw for me. Time to sell all stock in apple, and watch this company plummet.

i have the same problem, i have been using iCloud with my mac and now i can't unused it because i have been uploading allot of files.

why dose One drive have the option and iCloud dose not.
