Q: Can't open iPhoto in Yosemite

Get message I need to up-grade to iPhoto version compatible with Yosemite. When I click on link to app store get message that the software is no longer available in US. iMac Yosemite 10.10

Am new to this board. I see where people have gotten answers but cannot figure out how to get to the answers - I just get list of similar questions.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Follow these simple directions, follow them exactly.

1. Put your existing copy of iPhoto in the trash (just the app, not the library)
2. Open the App Store and go to the Purchases page
3. Download iPhoto.

Try the unhide steps in https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202320 and see if the iPhoto app appears and you can download it.
