Is there a way to get a live countdown on your lockscreen? I'm so annoyed I have been looking for days!

this is so annoying!! I want a live countdown on my lockscreen and I cannot find one. It's so annoying that all the countdown apps you have to open to see your countdown!!! How can I get one on my lockscreen. And not a reminder

Yep....as Meg says, start a timer running in the built-in Clock app, and there's your countdown on the lock screen, under the time.

On my iPhone 6, the built in countdown timer shows on the lockscreen, just under the time.
