Just going through a youtube tutorial about iPhone 6, and I am told I can send an audio message in iMessage if I press on microphone in bottom right corner of screen. However my phone (v8.3) doesn't show a microphone there. Can't see how I can get it to appear as an option in iMessage. Can anyone help? Thanks! KAH

I re-read your original post. The mic icon appears just to the left of the space key of the keyboard, not at the "bottom right." Note that you have to be in the message box and the keyboard showing for the mic button to appear.

Did you enable Siri? Settings > General > Siri > ON
Thx but Siri is ON, and was already on when I went looking for the microphone. : o (
OK, I see what you mean. (I still don't understand what was being shown in the tutorial on youtube where he distinctly shows the mike at bottom right, but I'll disregard that!). Thx for your help!

I have the same problem, but with one difference. When I touch the mic it converts my voice to text. How do I change that to an audio recording?
