Jun 15, 2015 4:14 PM in response to Squizmasterby hhgttg27,iTunes' CD import functions do not support CD text - all metadata is derived from the Gracenote service, based on an algorithm based on track numbers, lengths, etc.
I'm not sure why you'd want to import the CD into iTunes again; a far better strategy is to create and maintain a backup of your complete library (if for no reason that audio CDs are possibly the worst possible option in terms of data integrity). See turingtest2's user tip on Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy for a suitable/recommended method.

Jun 15, 2015 4:37 PM in response to Squizmasterby hhgttg27,In that case you should be able to replicate your library from the old computer to the new one - see the official guidance here: How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support. The backup method I referenced earlier supports this approach - backing up to an external drive facilitates migrating your library to a new computer. As long as your library is correctly structured as follows:
(see tt2's guidelines on Make a split library portable for more details) you get the added benefit that the result is a full replica of your previous library, and iDevices will not have to be erased before media can be synched with them.
