Does everyone turn their watch off when not in use...?

IM curious as to what everyone does...? Like at nighttime or during the day when I'm at work. I do aircraft maintenance so I do not bring it to work. Should I shut it off until I actually wear it and use it?

I think it depends on what a "long period of time" is. I don't think 8-12 hours qualifies, and most Apple devices are meant to be left on all the time. But if you won't be using it for several days, then yes - turning it off would presumably help preserve the battery by minimizing the charge/recharge cycles.

All of this is speculative. It's too new for anyone to know the answer to your question, based on experience.

What is a long period of time? I can't think of a reason to turn it off. If I were concerned about running out of power, I'd put it in Power Reserve. But, honestly, it's just a matter of personal preference. I don't turn my phone off, either. (Well, except for the time I got detained at the border and they made me turn it off.)
