Book for iPad on iPhone?

I just purchased a book from the iTunes store, and it is in my iTunes library. I want it on my iPhone 4S, so I have been dragging it onto my phone, butI then realized it was only compatible with iPads. Is there a way to put it on my iPhone 4S?
