Can't update and restore iPod to IOS 8.3

I pressed the update button on my iPod for IOS 8.3 and it showed on the screen that I needed to plug it into iTunes. I did that and it said there was an error that occured and I needed to restore my iPod. I restored it and updated it, but it still says there is an error. I can't restart my iPod it is just stuck on the screen where it shows that I need to plug it into iTunes. Do I have to take it into Apple, or is there a way I can fix it??
