Q: Macbook not connecting to home network. Unsure of airport, or router failure.
Hello all, I'm using my iMac to write this.
Last weekend I was out of town and upon coming back my Macbook pro wouldn't connect to my home wifi network. I had the "!" mark over the wi-fi status thing in my top bar.
Puzzled by this, I began googling. I have flushed my dns cache, restarted my router, and even re set up my local home network. Still, it will connect at random times, and when it works it works. However when it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Currently my macbook shows that it is connected to my home network, however no web pages will load.
Google Chrome is my web browser, and it is perpetually stuck on either just "Connecting..." or "Resolving host.."
At this point I am unsure as to if the airport in my computer is going out or if my router is dying. I am currently using a several year old Linksys e2000 router.
