Q: Remote Desktop Client update

HI

I have had the update for Remote Desktop Client Update 3.8.4 asking to be downloaded for a while; I a) do not use a remote desktop, b) don't recall downloading anything like this and c) how do I stop these updates that take space but I don't use.

I use a macbook pro 13in (early 2011)

Version 10.10.3

OS X Yosemite

Any advise for the IT challenged would be appreciated.

thanks

MacBook Pro, iOS 7.0.4

OK, so go to your Finder and search update client. Then you need to click on the My Mac button at the top of finder window. Locate the app that says something like "Remote Dekstop Update Client" and move it to trash. Then empty your trash. Hope this helped, and if it did not, leave a comment and I will give a more advanced solution.

    Hi thanks for the reply

I followed the instructions but when got to the list of items once clicking on the 'my mac' button I cannot find anything that says remote desktop update client.  So I wonder if I actually have it installed as I honestly don't remember ever installing it.

    Thanks again for the help.

I Just won't allow the update to do.
