I have a Mac OS X version 10.6.8 Model No. A1181 that was given to me by my cousin. (She bought a new one).



This is its hardware overview.

Not without upgrading it to Lion; the computer's incapable of running 10.8 or above. Mac OS X 10.6.8 and earlier need a Mac OS X install disk when reformatting.
