Synology Home Folders

Hello

I am testing a Synology unit as a home folder directory for ldap users.

I managed to mount the home drive for some test users via finder connect to server. (log in with their credentials which creates a home folder)

When I set up the server to point to the home folder the user can log in and mount his folder.

The problem is , when I press create home folder I get an error message so I have to create them manually by connecting to Synology by finder/connect to server.

My guess is that Workgroup Manager is sending the create command via different credentials and get's a no no response from synology unit.

Could anyone help please?
