Apple is failing its I-pod user community by making Music Voice Control a feature that cannot be disabled. Voice control has now made my I-pod model A1421 version 9.0.2 virtually dysfunctional. I shouldn't have to consider using Apple's less functional headphones that came with the pod (there is no non-slip feature that helps the buds stay in the ears when walking or jogging), stripping off any screen protection and so forth as advised in the manual.

Below: From Apple's I-pod manual:

If you want to turn off Voice Control

To turn off Voice Control, you need to set a passcode first—if you haven't already. Then go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > Voice Dial and turn off Voice Dial. Music Voice Control is always on.

MESSAGE TO APPLE from this user:

PLEASE ADD ROOT LEVEL DISABLE COMMAND to MUSIC

VOICE CONTROL in your next SOFTWARE UPDATE
