Mac Os X 10.6.8 does not install IWork 08 CD, idea what to do?

After re-loaded the whole system and installed 10.6.8, Mac Os X (2008) , does not install IWork 08 from CD.

The CD ejects every time .

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
