MacBook Pro - Bootcamp

Good Day

So the director of the company i work for came to me some time back and told me i must load windows onto his MacBook Pro via BoodCamp because he was tired f working on the Mac OS

I installed the Windows 8.1 on his MacBook and everything worked fine except all the ports on the right hand side of the MacBook, thinking it was an hardware issue i left it and he also just went on using the MacBook.

Yesterday he booted into the Mac OS and to his surprise the ports all worked again on the right hand side when he was in the Mac OS, thus giving rise to the question why the ports don't work when he works on the Windows 8.1 partition.

I don't have any knowledge regarding to MacBooks's and would appreciate any help/info on how i can get the ports to work on Windows, maybe its just the chip-set drivers that are missing?

Please any advice is welcome

Regards
