Apple Watch causing cursor to jump around

When I am trying to type on my Macbook Pro running OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 while wearing my Apple Watch, the cursor occasionally jumps to a different location in my document. This happens while I am in the middle of typing and suddenly I am typing in the middle of some other sentence. When I remove the Apple Watch, it stops happening.

I read this article: Trackpad or Magic Trackpad is jumpy or erratic - Apple Support

which led me to this article: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: Potential sources of wireless interference - Apple Support

Has anyone else experienced this?

Is it possible that the Apple Watch is interfering with my MBP's built-in trackpad?

Thanks for any guidance,

~Jamie
