Sep 15, 2015 12:51 PM in response to mpreddby djemsen,i have the same problem. I've been to an Apple Store yesterday and they run some tests and said there is no issue with the hardware..They have reinstalled Yosemite and send it back to me. The issue still exist, nothing has changed. It's a shame how Apple handles this issue...

Sep 15, 2015 1:20 PM in response to djemsenby pfafman,Sorry not posting this earlier but I did take videos of my 2015 Retina Macbook flickering and showed those to the tech at the apple store when I took it in. He then sent it in for having the mother board replaced. Since getting it back I may have seen a few flickers or might have blinked, but overall it is working fine.
So the solution is to take video of your laptop flickering, schedule a repair at an apple store and then show them the video and mention that others with this same problem at a minimum required a new mother board.
Note: When I sent it in via mail to apple all I got was a reinstall of the OS and told that it passed all the tests. And that does not fix this.

Sep 17, 2015 10:41 PM in response to mpreddby ogh3,I bought the 13.3" Pro Retina 128GB less than a month ago, and I already experienced this flickering issue twice. Both times, I was on Netflix on Safari. I don't know maybe that had something to do with it, but if it happens again, I'm not going to be a happy camper

Sep 18, 2015 7:28 PM in response to mpreddby mochimoch21,I bought 13.3 pro retina last august 2015 then i experienced the same issue. I went to an authorize apple service center and they said that they were able to fix it by reinstalling the osx and charge us for it but after we got home I test it again and the same problem persist. do authorize apple center really charge a fee for reinstalling the osx?

Sep 19, 2015 6:27 AM in response to mochimoch21by stucklog,That's unacceptable that they charged you. Get that money back. BHPhotoVideo replaced my whole computer and it didn't totally fix it. Usually happened when I went on eBay but it has seemed better lately.

Sep 21, 2015 12:54 PM in response to stucklogby srptsn,I have the same issue for my brand new 15 inch macbook retina with amd GPU it is coast 2.500$ . it has been 2.5 months since I bought my mac. Flicker has just started. I have talked to apple call center and they did some software tests on the phone and told me that, your problem is software, reinstall the OS X. I formatted my comp. and reinstall my OS X. Problem is still here. Macbook pros have this problem since 2012 and this is 2015 !! This is stupid. I am going to take my macbook pro 15'' to apple tomorrow and demand new one

Mid 2015 rMBP 15 with AMD : Screen quickly Fade Out / Fade in
Could you test it by navigate between the tabs of apple web page about iPhone 6S (3D touch - Design - etc...) ?

Sep 22, 2015 7:18 AM in response to sc10uby srptsn,This flick problem is not from software. Hardware causes that. Apple tech. tests the software and after some tests, they understand. The solution apple does is that changing the main board , screen panel etc.. This problem is so bad and apple know that. we buy 2.500$ macbook and there is stupid problem still apple have not started a change program for macbook pros

Oct 2, 2015 11:50 AM in response to RamMuljaniby sc10u,Ok guys,
Back from Genius Bar, the New mother board doesn't solved my problem but El Capitan does !!!!!!!!!!!

Oct 2, 2015 12:22 PM in response to sc10uby Mto23,El Capitan didn't solved mine on my MBPR15" mid 2015.
Actually the situation is identical, the logs show the same problem, some sort of error while switching between graphic cards, it could be drivers' issue?
